I have a 500 Roughrider. I added additional lights (2 x 55w. lamps) The battery charging system cannot keep up with this additional load. Is this common?

I have been told that a new stator(5oo watt) is required and Power Max does not have them as yet. Try Yamaha as their parts are supposed to fit.

i have a stator, voltage regulator, 3 batteries and again another stator fail all before 2000kms, i do not run any extra lights, radio or anything, in fact i do not even run with my lights on at all. now i found out my dealer is done. i have a $10,000 bike sitting on my lawn that won't even start. i will let you guys know how the rhino stator works when it shows up
